a quick gallery of my work! <3 open as page for best view. often updated with new works i like!
here’s an illustration of a location in the video game Destiny 2. I made this using my iPad and my Mac on Procreate and Affinity Designer. This was for an assignment in my final year of Graphic Arts class in 2022, and it took 15 hours.
2.27.23: This is the first illustration I’ve made in 2023. It took 10 hours made entirely on Procreate. I used techniques I learned from painting the piece on the left, such as the shading style, foliage and sky. I also kept a sketch-like style for the character, as seen in my 2021 Metroid character art.
this illustration is from March 2024 and has three variations. this one is the nighttime variant, seen in the lighting.
this is the day time variant that includes no sun rays and brighter colors.
this is the sunrise variant, which includes warmer colors in the background rather than cooler colors.
here we have a skull i painted digitally. this version of the painting, i aimed to mimic a real painting as much as possible while still keeping the stylized-digital art flare i love.
this is “The Galaxy’s Juggler”. Here I was still trying to catch that middle ground between physical and digital painting.
a self portrait made experimenting more with mimicking physical painting digitally using my own acrylic painting tactics.
in this version of the skull, I wanted to embrace more of the digital side of the piece rather than the painting side. both pieces i feel catch what i hoped to achieve.
this piece was made to celebrate the announcement of 2021’s “Metroid Dread” game. I wanted to focus on the amount of detail the protagonist’s new suit had.
this was a digital rough draft for a painting i wanted to make on a big canvas. i ended up liking how this looked a lot
here we have two friends on a skateboard type of day. i messed with color while keeping a realistic painting-sort of image style to it.
this one was made after “Metroid Dread” came out, as I wanted to make a second piece to accompany the first one I made.
this was for my high school’s senior year Graphic Arts class. The assignment was to create a poster that looks like it could be an advertisement for a product. I chose the Nintendo Switch, and made this using Procreate and Affinity Designer on an iPad Pro and Macbook Air.
this is an illustration of the main cast of characters from the video game “Going Under”, focusing on colors and line-less, pop-styled artwork.
here I am practicing dynamic, perspective-heavy poses using fashion styles I’ve worn throughout the years. :)
another Illustration for Graphic Arts, I wanted to tell a simple story using a very simple location that leaves a lot of room for interpretation and a way for the viewer to relate, while of course, adding some uniqueness the longer you look around the piece.
this piece was a submission for Team Reptile’s “Graffiti Battle” in search of artwork to put into their upcoming game, “Bomb Rush Cyberfunk”. It needed multiple sizes.
This poster was for the 2022 PIASC (formerly known as VizComm) Poster contest. Students from high schools and colleges had to make a poster that promotes the printing industry. In this poster I illustrated different mediums of print, as well as giving it a unique twist.
here’s me in my messy bedroom at the time. i wanted to work with perspective using a place i am most familiar with. i tried to keep it realistic, messy bed and all.
this is actually a physical painting i made for a final my senior year of high school. it was a challenge, since the assignment was to capture 6 different art styles using the same painting. it was a fantastic learning experience, especially getting used to a brush again. This took about 1 and a half weeks to paint.
practicing lighting
these two hand digital paintings are me experimenting with colors and drawing chains.
“Speak Up!” this is an illustration of a dream i had once. when making this, i wanted to focus on perspective and lighting, which weren’t my strong-suit.
This is another illustration / photoshop-type assignment from Graphic Arts. I really wanted to work with the space and clouds theme like I did with the Nintendo Switch piece :)
made this one while thinking of the sort of posters i would hang in my room that screams my personality
this was my first time really experimenting with lighting, line-less art and colors using my iPad.
here’s an older piece from 2019 used for a poster contest for VizComm, during the first year of my Graphic Arts class back in my freshman year of high school. I used Clip Studio and a Huion drawing tablet for this.
